Paper
A great, multipurpose material for plastic-free shipping and curbside recycling. Applications range from void fill (butcher paper, honeycomb paper wrap) to mailers (flexible and expandable kraft mailers). Default options for kraft paper are often made from virgin materials, so be sure to request recycled content if it is a requirement. When compared to plastic alternatives, kraft paper is often heavier and it’s not resistant to water or tearing.
Weighs more than alternatives in different applications (such as tissue paper for void fill and LDPE for mailers), so it can cost more to ship.
