On this episode of Unboxing Things, Jesse unboxes fine fragrance brand, Le Labo. She unwraps how they are taking standard materials and combining them together to create a well-considered and elevated yet rustic and understated experience.
Here are just some of the things we love about their packaging:
- Regular slotted container (or RSC) box. C-flute corrugated has more of a sturdy and rugged feel than typical B-flute.
- Stamped branding introduces a hand-applied experience
- Woven fiber black tape
- Black paper and black tissue void fill is cohesive throughout
- Embossed collateral folder
- One-color printed sample cards and envelopes
- Packing slip is printed on creme paper
- Interior roll end front tuck (or RETF) box has a matte black flood coat on the interior. E-flute corrugated is compact.
- Large printed creme label is informative with product specs. Placement and font design gives a creative and artistic brand feel.
