Reinforced Kraft Paper

Durable paper, made from wood pulp and lined with fiberglass strands for added strength.

What is Reinforced Kraft Paper?

Reinforced kraft paper is the only tear and puncture-resistant material that is accepted with curbside paper recycling. While it is curbside recyclable, the reinforcing strands are not, and will be removed during the recycling process and sent to a landfill.

Why choose it?

  • Tear and puncture resistant

Why not choose it?

  • While it is technically curbside recyclable, the reinforcing strands are not, and will end up in a landfill.

  • Not compostable, because of reinforcing strands

  • The reinforcements create an uneven print surface, which can compromise the precision of small print details or fine lines.
